Description

A detective party game for kids aged 8 to 12, 6 to 10 players, ready to print at home. At the village summer fair the prize cake has vanished from the locked cake room. Where is it, and who took it away? Nothing scary: there is no crime, no gore and no villain, and everyone is friends again at the end.

What you get: - A host guide with a timed run of about 75 minutes, for a parent or an older child. - Invitations with blank lines to fill in, and 10 name tags. - 10 detective booklets: role, secret, goal, and what to say, ask and share in each of 4 rounds. - 20 clue cards, sorted by round, plus a plan of the fair, a receipt, an entry slip and a note to pass round. - Guest lists and accusation sheets printed for 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 players. - 10 sealed role cards, so nobody can tell who has the cake. - The solution, a reveal script and 12 certificates.

The mystery has exactly one answer. The clues were checked at every group size from 6 to 10 players: one guest fits all the evidence, every round rules someone out, and nothing contradicts. Roles 9 and 10 are optional extras you can leave out. Pip the little ghost joins in on the cover.

Everything is an original story with original characters. It comes as a single zip of 27 PDF files for US Letter (8.5 x 11 in); it prints well on A4 with "fit to page". Nothing is shipped.
